Welcome to Bryn Mawr Japanese Church!

ブリンマー日本語教会は 今まで教会に接点のなかった方も、既にクリスチャンとして信仰を持っておられる方も、心から歓迎いたします。 毎週日曜日１１時からの礼拝、そして礼拝の後の昼食を交えての交流へも自由に参加できます。 当教会は、聖書を誤りなき神のことばとして信じる福音的信仰にたっています。

Bryn Mawr Japanese Church is a place where you are among friends. We invite you and your family to join us Sundays at 11am and experience Biblical worship. After Worship we invite you to stay for a lunch and fellowship.

私はクリスチャンではありませんが、教会に行ってもよいのでしょうか？
I'm not a Christian. Can I go to church?

もちろんです。教会ではクリスチャンでない方こそが参加されることを歓迎いたします。ご希望であれば新しく訪問された方を対象に入門クラスも行っています。
Of course. Whether you are a christian or not, you are welcome to our church.　 We offer Christian 101 class per request.)

 

聖書をもっていないのですが。。。
But I don't have a bible?

教会には備え付けの聖書があり、ご自由にお使いいただけます。
We have Japanese Bibles at church for your use.

 

会費や入会金などは必要ですか？
Do I have to give at the offering?

いいえ。礼拝の中に献金のときがありますが、献金は神への感謝の気持ちであり、するかしないかは本人の自由です。
No. Offering is not necessary and it is up to you.

 

礼拝は日本語ですか？
Is the Service in Japanese or English?

ほとんどの礼拝は日本語です。FMラジオを通しての英語の同時通訳も用意されています。
Most Sundays the sermon is in Japanese with English translation brodcast live over FM Radio. (Radios are provided) Occationally sermons are in English when a guest pastor is preaching.

Where do I go? 

ブリンマー日本語教会はブリンマーのプロクラメーション教会によって支援されており、プロクラメーション教会内の２階２４３室にて行われています。礼拝後の食事会は同教会の地下のファミリーセンターにてあります。
BMJC is hosted within Proclimation Church in Brynmawr. We are in Room 243 Lunch is served for all after the service inthe Family center in the basement.

子供は一緒にいてよろしいのですか？
What does BMJC offer my kids?

お子様も大歓迎です。子供へのメッセージもあり、その後に子供たちは別の部屋へ移動し、クラフトやおもちゃで遊ぶことができます。小さいお子様は少しくらい声を出しても大丈夫ですので礼拝室に残っていただいても構いません。
Children are welcome to participate in the music and singing. A short Children's sermon is conducted, and then all children are invited to go to the activity room where they will enjoy crafts and play with the other children. Proclamation (our host church) also offers sunday school and day care as well.
